Mikrokosmos 102 issue 1 is now available. It contains the first part of a series on micro photography. We are proudly to present our first cover.

Mikrokosmos 102 issue 1: first part of the series about stacking is published. Its titel: working outdoor. You find some more test results here.

The gallery increased. Each "edition" bundles pictures of a certain topic. Edition 2009 is of special importance, as for the first time focus stacking was used. Edition 2011 shows our new working area of 2010: Microscope Photography. Most of the images are stacked and prepared by us, however, there are also objects given to us by friends. Edition 2013 is a deeper dive into technics of 2011 accompanied by a new technique: Pano-stack.

The third part of this series about preparation of microtome knives has been published in Mikrokosmos 101, issue 6/2012. It covers disposable microtome blades and their holders as well as the correct mounting of these blades.
